Assist and provide support to restricted party screening team with the development of policies and procedures in response to regulatory developments.
Review and negotiate contractual provisions with clients, third parties and vendors relating to trade compliance.
Maintain strong relationships across the business to effectively spot and address trade compliance risks.
Provide training on trade compliance topics to cross-functional teams, including sales teams, product and engineering teams, and legal colleagues.
Handle regulatory inquiries and filings with U.S. and other agencies, as needed.
What you need to succeed
Law degree/JD with mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred;
6+ years of experience in law practice with proven experience and /or understanding of U.S. (OFAC) economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations;
Experience with and/or understanding of non-U.S. trade laws;
Highly effective communicator who can translate complex laws and regulations for business personnel;
Business-savvy problem-solver with excellent judgment who can navigate challenges;
Team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
A self-starter who can operate independently in a dynamic global environment;
An approachable, easy going and flexible manner with a great sense of humor;
Strong dedication to client service; and
Willingness to work flexible hours (this role requires frequent collaboration with non-US-based team members).

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
